Ashley Brown

Community Youth Development Graduate Assistant

Ashley Brown is an emerging professional in psychology and health promotion with a strong foundation in mental health, behavior change, and community wellness.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Clinical Health from the University of Texas at Arlington and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Lifestyle Medicine and Health & Wellness at the University of North Texas Health Science Center, where she is also earning certifications in public health and wellness coaching, emotional intelligence, and leadership development. Her combined academic and professional experience includes undergraduate research in industrial and organizational psychology, focusing on workplace anxiety, organizational justice, and team communication, as well as hands-on roles in academic and community settings.

Ashley’s work spans direct care in home health and early childhood education, along with facilitating mental health and wellness initiatives and supporting diverse populations. She has also contributed to community outreach efforts, including food distribution and mental health awareness programs. Her work is grounded in culturally responsive care, social justice, and advocacy for underserved communities.
