Ivette Ontiveros is a Project Coordinator for the Community Youth Development (CYD) Rising Blazers Program at the University of North Texas at Dallas. She is passionate about creating spaces where youth feel supported, empowered, and inspired to grow into their full potential.

In her role, Ivette helps bring programs to life, from planning engaging events to building connections with students, families, and community partners. She enjoys being hands-on in her work and takes pride in creating experiences that are both meaningful and memorable for the youth she serves.

Ivette’s background in Sociology fuels her commitment to understanding people and strengthening communities. She is especially passionate about fostering positive environments both for youth and in the workplace, and plans to continue her educational journey.

Outside of work, Ivette enjoys staying creative and finding new ways to make a lasting impact in the lives of others.
