UNTD Services

Mentoring

The Mentoring Program supports Early College High School (ECHS) students on UNT Dallas’ campus. This program pairs our ECHS students with a UNTD college student to journey alongside them as they transition out of high school into college. Programming is centered around college readiness, self advocacy, and volunteerism.

College & Career Readiness

The college and career readiness program focuses on post-high school readiness and individual wellbeing. Partnering with New Tech High School college and career readiness classes, this program compliments existing campus initiatives with UNTD resources.

Teen Mental Health First Aid

Teen Mental Health First Aid (tMHFA) teaches teens in grades 10-12, or ages 15-18, how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges among their friends and peers.

Youth Advisory Committee

The Youth Advisory Committee (YAC) is a group of 12 youth who participate in Youth Leadership Development programming to nurture their confidence and promote positive youth development. Through workshops, public speaking activities, service learning projects, and townhall presentations, youth are challenged to embrace their individual leadership qualities.
